NURSERY CARE: We have a Nursery provider on Sunday mornings at the 10:30am service during the fall-winter-spring and the 9:30am service in the summer. Children ages 0-3 are welcome .
SACRAMENTS: We celebrate the sacrament of Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month; the Table is open to any and all who wish to partake. Baptisms are celebrated throughout the year.
Health and Safety Notice: The global pandemic taught us of the need to be hospitable to worshippers who are immunocompromised. As such, we maintain a section of pews in our Sanctuary where mask-wearing is required. The rest of the building is mask-optional. Out of an abundance of caution, we encourage anyone who is feeling ill or has flu or cold-like symptoms to wear a mask.
* Our Open and Affirming covenant:
First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, of Anoka is an open and affirming community for all.
We affirm that the Image of God is most fully reflected in diversity. We invite all people to share their energy and talents in full participation with our community. We welcome all individuals and families of any sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, relationship status, race, national origin, socioeconomic status, age, mental and physical health or ability, or belief. Together, we celebrate these and all other facets of one’s essential being.
The “Progress Pride” flag shown above was created by Daniel Quasar in 2018.
