Worship

Worship at Anoka UCC occurs on a seasonal schedule.

On all Sundays AFTER Labor Day weekend but BEFORE Memorial Day weekend, there are two services on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Our SUMMER WORSHIP runs from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. On those Sundays we worship at 9:30am.

Communion is regularly offered on the first Sunday of the month as well as on Easter and Christmas Eve.  A variety of special non-Sunday services occur through the year, including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.  Special services featuring our Youth Group and Chancel Choir occur a few times a year.

Music is one of our core values, and so our worship features the talents of a skilled keyboardist and choir director.  The church's choir sings on the first and third Sunday of most months and is open to all who wish to join; they rehearse every Wednesday night from September through May.

When the choir isn't singing, worship features special musicians drawn from both inside and outside the congregation whose vocal and instrumental talents help us connect to God and each other.
